Who can become a member of SANDAS?

SANDAS is principally an organization that represents the interests of non-government organizations working in the alcohol and other drug field. However, associate and individual membership enable individuals and other organizations (government, local government, research, NGO's working in an allied sector) to participate in SANDAS activities and contribute to SANDAS outputs.

SANDAS has four types of membership:
Individual/Student, Organization, and Associate

Some of the benefits of membership are:
  • Regular email newsletters about movements in the sector, topical information, recent research and general items of interest to workers in the AOD field.
  • Invitations to quarterly NGO forums and network meetings.
  • Policy input into government and key decision making body submissions
  • Opportunities to meet with SANDAS to discuss your organizations specific needs
  • Regular opportunities to network with other drug and alcohol services in South Australia
  • Become a part of the bigger picture of Drug and Alcohol issues within the South Australian community.
  • Your membership will strengthen the policy power of SANDAS as it relates to funding bodies, decision makers and other organizations.
