South Australian Network of Drug and Alcohol Services

The South Australian Network of Drug and Alcohol Services was formed in 2004 due to the growing need for representation and leadership for non-government organizations working in the drug and alcohol field. Since this time SANDAS has worked to provide leadership, advocacy, coordination and to facilitate communication between member organizations.

SANDAS has also applied itself to creating a strong line of communication with key government departments in relation to funding, programs and policy.

SANDAS is now the Peak Body for Non-Government Organizations working in the alcohol and other drug field in South Australia.

SANDAS aims to effectively support and represent the needs of its members in order to improve the delivery of drug and alcohol services in South Australia.

SANDAS is a not for profit association funded by the Department of Health, Drug and Alcohol Services of South Australia, the Department of Health and Ageing and the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation.
